The ceremony feels intimate, atmospheric, and deeply personal. Your hire includes everything you need for a comfortable and stylish experience, from classic ceremony chairs to lounge seating and tables for post-ceremony moments of connection.

Your special day is all about you and your loved ones, with the perfect setting for a wedding of up to 28 (couple plus 26 guests).

Your celebration begins with a 4 pm ceremony, followed by reception drinks and delicious canapés.

After that, enjoy an exquisite meal onboard the boat, complete with heartfelt speeches and after-dinner drinks either at the table or in our charming stretch tent.

Hire costs include all furniture, table and glassware, Christmas decorations, sound system, wifi, and staff.

Wedding Breakfast

Your wedding breakfast is served aboard the beautifully restored Leven is Strijd, an elegant Dutch barge offering a truly unique dining experience. In collaboration with your chosen caterers from our preferred partners, we host a full three-course meal, followed by tea and coffee, all enjoyed in the characterful surroundings of this historic vessel.

On warmer days, the retractable roof can be opened, allowing you and your guests to dine beneath open skies, adding a magical touch to your celebration. The barge also features two guest restrooms and a well-stocked bar for your convenience and comfort.

The table, chairs, placing decor and glassware are included in your hire costs.

Canapés and Bar Area

Following your ceremony, you and your guests are invited to unwind at our elegant Art Deco bar, located within the glass-fronted stretch tent.

We offer a wide selection of spirits and beers, with an emphasis on locally sourced options wherever possible.

Later in the evening, this space reopens for you and your evening guests for after-dinner drinks and sweet treats, perfect for relaxing under the stars as your celebration continues into the evening.
